As a self-published writer you may need a website or blog to promote your books. The options are to do it yourself or to hire a website design company.

If you have the time you may prefer to build your own site and WordPress is a popular blogging software for writers. Joomla, which is the CMS software I use for my websites and my clients' websites, is my personal preference. If you need a blog on your Joomla site then I would recommend the extension, EasyBlog.
